FirstCare South West Limited was set up in November 2009. It's Founder and Director, Jeanette Roberts, represents client’s predominantly in the South West, assisting with requests/reviews/appeals relating to Continuing Healthcare Funding and Local Authority Social Care Needs Assessments.
She attends hospital discharges to ensure that the process of discharge and the appropriate health and social care needs assessments are carried out prior to discharge so that the individual has the right care package in place before leaving hospital.
In addition, Jeanette attends assessments for Continuing Healthcare in order to ensure that the process is duly adhered to by the various Primary Care Trusts.
Training and on-going support is also given to firms of Solicitors around the country to enhance their Private Client Practices, along with training provided to Care Providers, Solicitors for the Elderly Groups, Independent Financial Advisers, Local Authorities and Primary Care Trusts. Jeanette is more than happy to visit clients in their own home/at their care home/in hospital.
Assistance is offered on an on-going basis and clients are able to contact her at any stage in the care process for advice.
FirstCare South West are now working in partnership with DementiaDoctor in order to strengthen and widen the services it can offer its clients.
In association with Jeanette, Dr Nightingale can now provide independent assessments and reports of a clients' psychological and emotional state in cases where PCT's and other funding bodies are uncertain as to the individuals' legibility to continuing healthcare funding.
