Jon F. Beilby

Jon graduated from Swansea University with an Honours Degree in 1972. He has worked in industry and has taught for over twenty years, as well as having served in the Territorial Army Volunteer Reserve.
Jon was trained by the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy and by Relate, (the National Relationship Counselling Charity), for whom he worked as a counsellor. He was the Executive Director for NRHP from 2003 to 2009. He is a Fellow of the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy Student and Alumni Guild and a member of the Dementia Care Faculty. He has worked with individuals, couples and groups, as well as supervising therapists/counsellors.
Jon was the Principal of the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy from 2003 to 2008 and is now an examiner and Tutor for the National College Post-Graduate Diploma Course.
He was the first person in the UK to be awarded the European Certificate of Clinical Hypnosis by the European Association of Hypno Psychotherapy, (EAHP). In 2008 he became the Chair of EAHP, having been a Director and Secretary since 2003.
Jon holds the European Certificate of Psychotherapy and is an International Inspector for the European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP).
He is a director of Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy Limited which facilitates training and acts a consultant for corporate bodies as well as working with groups and private clients.
Jon works on the NHS and Job Centre Plus Condition Management Programme especially on the Help for Health Programme in Lancashire.
His main professional interests are in working with dementia care, stress, anxiety, self esteem, relationships, abuse issues, and work and unemployment issues.
He is registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, the European Association of Hypno Psychotherapy and the European Association of Psychotherapy. He is also a registered trainer for the Alzheimer’s Society “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”, Dementia Care Award.
Jon is well known in the UK and abroad as a speaker at conferences and other events.
